What is Spray Polyurethane Foam?
There are two types of polyurethane foam material we offer, Half pound open cell SPF and Two pound closed cell SPF.
1/2 Lb. (Open cell SPF)
This product uses air pockets to help achieve its R-value. Better than fiberglass but still requires a vapour barrier. There are many uses for this product such as Rim joists pockets, Garage ceilings for a room above, etc.2 Lb. (Closed cell SPF)
This product when installed at 2″ thickness will not require a vapour barrier on any substrate. No other insulation has a higher R-Value and can guarantee its Long Term Thermal Rating when installed by a certified Spray Foam technician. -

What is Spray Foam?
Spray Foam (Spray Polyurethane) is the result of two liquids mixed together. Isocyonate and a resin are mixed using special equipment to regulate pressure and heat. Both fluids are stored separately until they meet in the end of the gun used to apply them. There are 2 types of spray foam typically used being open cell and closed cell.
